Research

I have recently completed a research paper on Followership which drew widely from my experiences in the equine-assisted learning workshops I have been running.

This paper was submitted to the 2017 Roffey Park Research Competition, and was awarded second prize.

You can access the research paper directly here.

Application of equine-assisted learning to improve horsemanship

Up to now, my workshops have been aimed at people who want to develop their emotional intelligence and related skills in the workplace.  However, feedback from a participant who noticed unexpected benefits in her riding lessons has led to the idea of creating workshops specifically for riders.

I have identified some willing volunteers to try out these workshops, and based on the results, may be branching out with EAL for riders – watch this space!
