Who are we?
Owner and lead facilitator Sarah Krasker: Chartered MCIPD with a BSc in Psychology, certified in Neurolinguistic Programming (Business Practitioner) and equine-assisted learning.
I have been working as an independent learning and development consultant since 2006, based in French-speaking Switzerland and working with clients around the world.
I have worked on the design and delivery of learning and development programmes, consulting on training design, and facilitation of workshops for multinational corporations, NGOs and international organisations around the world. I speak both French and Spanish fluently, and have delivered training in both these languages as well as in English. My main area of focus has always been the development of soft skills such as team working, leadership and management, communication and content delivery (training, presentations and facilitation), using a blend of online resources, classroom workshops and coaching.
In 2013, building on 40 years of experience owning, riding and competing with horses, I became certified in equine-assisted learning. Since then, I have been designing and delivering equine-assisted experiential learning programmes and workshops, a unique and highly effective way of providing the insights and feedback necessary for the development of emotional intelligence.
Where are we?
I have built a network of coaches and qualified equine-assisted learning practitioners and worked with equine facilities around the world in order to be able to deliver programmes and workshops wherever needed. In the past 7 years I have delivered equine-assisted learning events in Switzerland, Dubai/Abu Dhabi, France, Mexico and the USA, and planned events in South Africa and the Netherlands (unfortunately these were put on hold due to the world health crisis in 2020).
Equine-assisted learning does not require horses with any special training, so I look for facilities with a professional and sympathetic approach to working with horses. The safety and wellbeing of both people and horses are a top priority when identifying suitable facilities; while the physical environment can differ from place to place, ranging from the luxurious to the more rustic, I make sure that the people I work with share the key values of respect for horses and people, and professional responsibility. Wherever I work, I make sure to spend time in person with both the people and the horses prior to delivering any equine-assisted learning event.
